The MAS Portal repository is an open source institutional search engine for developing museum-school partnerships in Europe and beyond.

The search tool, with customisable filters, allows museum staff and school educators, to create institutional profiles for their organisations, as well as search for other institutions who are keen to partner, using the MAS platform and its digital infrastructure.

Especially following the COVID-19 pandemic, there is an increased need for the cultural and education sectors towards digital transformation. It is crucial therefore to enhance their digital presence, and the MAS Portal seeks to address this challenge. Institutions can extend their network of collaboration and develop meaningful and sustainable projects, at times of precarity.

The latter increases visibility and attraction of the museums, and facilitates collaboration with formal learning institutions. Such creative synergies stimulate dialogue between museum educators, schoolteachers and students.

The MAS research team is well qualified to provide with guidance throughout the partnership created, and is readily available to answer your queries.

As soon as you register online as an individual, you can begin creating your institutional profile. We recommend using this template for Setting up a partnership.

Steps to use the Partnership Finder:

  1. 1. Create a profile
  2. 2. Fill in the details of your organisation.
  3. 3. Search for partners using the filters available.
  4. 4. Network and collaborate.
