The "Apostolos Loukas" elementary school in Colossi is located at the entrance of the village and at the same time it borders the old Limassol-Paphos road.
It was built in 1948 on land donated by the church of Apostle Loukas. 'When it was first built it had only two classrooms, and when the number of pupils increased, mainly after independence, various buildings were being rented out as classrooms (branches) of the school.
The first expansion of the school took place around 1963, when another room and the Principal's office were added, and later other rooms were added.
The latest upgrade / expansion takes place this school year, so our new refurbished school will have:

Computer Room
Home Economics Room
Design / Technology Room.
Art Education Hall
Canteen
Special Education Room
Medical room
Events Room
There are 23 permanent teachers and 234 students currently teaching at the school.
